Date Flat Bread
Ingredients
- 1 Yeast Bread Recipe
- 2 cups Deglet Noor Dates, sliced
- 2 tbsp grated Asiago Cheese
- Sea Salt
- Olive Oil
- Cornmeal
Instructions
- Let yeast bread rise, punch down the dough and knead in the sliced dates.
- Let dough rise again, punch down and divide in half.
- Coat two baking sheets with olive oil and lightly with cornmeal.
- Roll out the dough and place on baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. cheese.
- Lightly sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Makes two flatbreads, 8 servings per flatbread.
