Date Flat Bread


  • 1 Yeast Bread Recipe
  • 2 cups Deglet Noor Dates, sliced
  • 2 tbsp grated Asiago Cheese
  • Sea Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • Cornmeal


  • Let yeast bread rise, punch down the dough and knead in the sliced dates.
  • Let dough rise again, punch down and divide in half.
  • Coat two baking sheets with olive oil and lightly with cornmeal.
  • Roll out the dough and place on baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. cheese.
  • Lightly sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
  • Makes two flatbreads, 8 servings per flatbread.
